As a member of the top-paid cast on television, and the top-rated show, Parsons makes $1 million per episode, as do fellow listees Johnny Galecki (No. 2, $26.5 million), Simon Helberg (No. 3, $26 million) and Kunal Nayyar (No. 4, $25 million). That means each earns $24 million per season from the show--plus a chunk of backend. Their salaries will decrease next year, as they, along with castmate Kaley Cuoco, each took a $100,000-per-episode pay cut for the upcoming season to give co-stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch higher salaries.

In conclusion, she insisted and consoled herself with the kids she has with him — Referred to them as her only hope she has in this world.

Robber lynched, 3 others gunned down by police

The Manso Nkwanta Police Patrol team have gunned down three (3) armed robbers at Manso Kensere

The Manso Nkwanta Police Patrol team have gunned down three (3) armed robbers at Manso Kensere in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.

The incident occurred Wednesday September 20, 2017.

Ashanti Region Police Public Relations Officer, Juliana Obeng briefing the media said the Manso Nkwanta Police patrol team during its usual patrols had intelligence report that some armed robbers had blocked the road between the Manso Kensere and Adubia with logs and were robbing commuters.

“Just as the patrol team got to the scene they chanced on an Opel taxi cab with five (5) men who had alighted from it. The occupants on seeing the Police patrol team opened fire on the police, the men also returned” ASP Juliana Obeng said.

According to ASP Juliana Obeng, two of the robbers managed to get into the vehicle and escaped with it, but three (3) of them died through gunshot wounds from the police.

She added one of the robbers who managed who managed to escape with the taxi cab lynched by members of the community.

Bodies of the deceased have been deposited at ST. Martin’s Catholic hospital morgue at Agrosum in the Amansie West District for identification and preservation.

Efforts are also underway to get the fifth suspect arrested and the taxi cab impounded.

Kennedy Agyapong leaks names of NDC gurus to face prosecution

Outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated unequivocally that five persons under the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration will soon face criminal and civil prosecutions for their alleged involvement in shady deals.

He hints that the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service in collaboration with state Prosecutors have finalized work on their dockets and will soon head to court in the second hurdle of the legal battle.

Some members of the past administration have been accused of engaging in some underhand dealings that led to colossal financial loss to the state and must answer for their actions and inactions.

Speaking on his Net 2 TV’s morning show “National Agenda” on Wednesday, the Assin Central lawmaker specifically mentioned former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni as one of those to be prosecuted.

“I am aware the CID have concluded their investigations and are ready with dockets that will be forwarded to the court for the prosecution to begin. I know for a fact that Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni is one of the five past officials”, he hinted.

Though he will not reveal the identities of the rest, he indicated that they cannot escape the long arm of the law for using their former offices to cause debts for the country in the pursuit of parochial interests.

“I can state categorically that some documents for the prosecution of some corrupts NDC officials are ready. I know of Opuni’s own and some five others. I know all these documents are ready and are in the custody of the CID and I can assure you that they will not go scot free” he said.

According to him, there is nowhere the former CEO of COCOBOD can escape jail taking into account the kind of deals he is alleged to have done while in office.

“I can state categorically that some documents for the prosecution of some corrupts NDC officials are ready. I know of Opuni’s own and some five others.

I know all these documents are ready and are in the custody of the CID and I can assure you that they will not go scot free” he said.

Wayne Rooney banned after admitting drink-driving

Former England captain Wayne Rooney has appeared in court and admitted drink-driving.

He was arrested when police stopped a car in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the early hours on 1 September.

The 31-year-old was banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order.

Rooney was also ordered to pay £170 when he appeared at Stockport Magistrates' Court.


The court heard Rooney was almost three times the legal limit when he was stopped by police at 02:00 BST.

A breathalyser test showed his alcohol level was 104 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath.


In a statement issued after the hearing, the Everton footballer said: "I want publicly to apologise for my unforgivable lack of judgment in driving while over the legal limit. It was completely wrong.

"I have already said sorry to my family, my manager and chairman and everyone at Everton FC. Now I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career.

"Of course I accept the sentence of the court and hope that I can make some amends through my community service."

Wearing a blue suit with his hands in his pockets, Rooney walked into the court building accompanied by a small entourage.

Kate Gaskell, prosecuting, said a police officer on patrol was on duty in Altrincham Road, Wilmslow, at 02:10 BST when they noticed the rear tail-light of a Volkswagen Beetle on the left hand side had gone out.

She said the officer intended to follow the vehicle but it pulled over with Rooney seen to be at the wheel with a female in the front passenger seat.

Ms Gaskell said the footballer provided a positive roadside breath test before he was taken to a police station where the reading was confirmed.

The judge told Rooney: "You placed yourself and other road users at risk"

The court heard that Rooney currently had three points on his driving licence for a speeding offence on August 24 2016.

Rooney's legal team had asked District Judge John Temperley to consider not imposing a community order because of his ongoing charitable work.

However, the judge said he was "not convinced" that imposing a large fine "would have the same effect".


Rooney's lawyer, Mike Rainford, told the court it was likely that Everton would fine the player two weeks' wages, which the BBC understands to be about £300,000.

Judge Temperley said: "This is a serious matter... you placed yourself and other road users at risk as a result of your poor judgement that night.

"I accept your remorse is genuine and that you are aware of the adverse affects the events of that night have had, not least on your family."

Rooney was also told to pay £85 prosecution costs and a victim surcharge for the same amount.

Rawlings questions NDC's capacity to win 2020 elections

Former President Jerry John Rawlings

Founder of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings has questioned the party’s ability to wrestle power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Rawlings says he would be happy to see the NPP lose to his party in the 2020 polls but doubts if that could be realised considering the cracks in the party.

“Let me simply say that I will very much want to see the NPP beaten but do we have what it takes? Do we have the capacity to be able to wrestle power from them?” the Former President questioned in an interview TV3's News360.

News was rife on Friday that the Former president had suggested that NPP would win the 2020 elections if it is able to sustain its performance within the next four years.

He was reported to have said the NPP will win in 2020 “If they do well in enough… And so far it doesn’t look too bad.”

Throwing more light on his statement, Rawlings noted the NDC has lost touch with the grassroots and the surest way to recapture power is by rebuilding a strong bond with the grassroots of the party.

"Let’s give the party back to them, they are the ones who actually make it possible to win or lose elections, let’s respect their views.”

He was worried that after the party’s congress held in Sunyani almost two decades ago, it has not been able to deal with issues that have plagued its electoral process.


“The manner in which the electoral process has been happening since Sunyani has not been encouraging. It’s unfortunate, most unfortunate how come we lost the moral high grounds. I think they know what needs to be done: he asserted.



Rawlings advised that “the most important factor I believe has to do with the issue of the cleanup that needs to be done; the restoration of our integrity. We don’t like to hear it but I keep repeating it. We have to go back, seek a moral high ground.”

The NDC lost the 2016 general elections in one of the nation’s most humiliating defeat recorded in its electoral history.

Akufo-Addo obtained a staggering 5,716,609 of total votes cast in the 2016 elections, representing 53.84%, to snatch the Presidency from John Mahama, who secured 4,713,277 votes (44.40%).

The NDC also lost more than 40 parliamentary seats to the NPP. This performance is the worst in the party’s history since 1992.

The party has since been characterised by infighting and internal divisions as they try to establish the causes of the party’s woeful performance in the last elections and rally round a candidate for the 2020 general elections.

Names such as Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Sylvester Mensah, Spio Garbrah, Horace Ankrah, Alban Bagbin, Oppong Ofosu and Joshua Alabi have come up as potential contenders for the flagbearer position on the ticket of opposition NDC as the party prepares to organise its congress.

Hurricane Irma Storm hits west coast of Florida

Hurricane Irma is blasting up the west coast of Florida and is now bearing down on the city of Tampa.

Irma made landfall on Marco Island off Florida’s west coast with winds of up to 120mph (192km/h), but has since been downgraded from category three to two.
More than 3.4 million homes in the state are without power, and parts of the city of Miami are under water.

Three storm-related deaths have been reported, as Irma moves northwards.
In its latest update at 03:00 GMT Monday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) says “hurricane conditions are continuing across portions of the central Florida peninsula”.
Irma currently has maximum sustained winds of 100mph (160km/h), the NHC says.
The storm was earlier pummelling the area around the city of Fort Myers.

It has already devastated parts of the Caribbean, killing at least 28 people.
Some 6.3 million people in Florida had been told to evacuate.
President Donald Trump has approved a major disaster declaration and emergency federal aid for Florida.

He described the hurricane as a “big monster”, praising the federal agencies involved with the storm and saying he would go to the state “very soon”.
“We may have been a little bit lucky in that it went on the west, and it may not have been quite as disruptive, but we’re going to see, it’s going to play out over the next five or six hours,” Mr Trump added.

Stonebwoy Burniton, born Livingstone Etse Satekla is a Ghanaian Afro pop, dancehall and reggae artiste who hails from the Volta Region. He was born on March 5, 1988 in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra, and places fourth (4th) in a family of seven (7) siblings.

As far back as grade four (4), young Stonebwoy realized his love and passion for creative arts, having successfully scripted and acted for the drama club of his school and also put words together in a rhythmic manner. Since then, the young chap has never stopped singing both songs that he has written and composed and those by artists he is influenced by

In an industry flooded with people trying out a number of things in a bid to establishing their identity, Stonebwoy stands as one unique artiste with a sense of direction and purpose. His two albums (currently available on iTunes) Grade #1 and Necessary Evil are captivating debut that heralds the arrival of a gifted and significant artist, marking his territory.  He recorded his first track in a family studio a decade ago. Thence, Stonebwoy has never looked back.

Making the history surrounding the emergence of an African legend was when in first year in Senior High School, Stonebwoy met up with a radio DJ/Presenter, Doctor Duncan who at the time was the host of KASAHARI, a real time rap battle programme. Out of that programme came the likes of Sakordie, Dr  Cryme and many other relevant rappers in Ghana. More than 10 years ago and Stonebwoy recalls “I battled my way out every weekend without defeat till date. Music chose me, I didn’t choose music”.

His first radio hit, Makuma (My Heart) was released in second year at Senior High School plus several others that followed up later. By third year, he had amassed for himself a flaming underground popularity and went on to release another hit titled Empress which held him up years after leaving High School in 2007.

Thereafter, things happened in quick succession and Stonebwoy soon started work with S24 studios in 2008. He later joined Samini (one of Ghana’s revered dancehall artiste) and his HighGrade family and remained there until 2012, when he decided to put into practice all he had seen and learnt when he formed his own record label called Burniton Music Group (BMG).

Knowing the direction he was heading with his career, Stonebwoy worked day and night with his team to ensure that they achieved the best. Today, the result of hard work is certainly paying off for the young chap with collaborations with international acts from Africa, UK, Jamaica such as Jah Vinci, Trey Songz, Gappy Ranks, Randy Valentine, Sakordie, Wayne Wonder, Laza Morgan, Samini, Obrafour, Black Prophet, R2Bees, Patoranking, General Pype Stylogee, Burna Boy, Morgan Heritage, Chris Martin, I Octane, Kranium and many others.

The risks from this include cancers, respiratory & cardiovascular diseases. “The public is informed of the dangerous public health content & violation of Tobacco Ctrl Act 2015 in “Wo” by @olamide YBNL #ClearTheAir,” they tweeted.
